I can look past the mycelial network. I just can’t tolerate some of the characters. And unfortunately they decided to focus on one main character. And that character’s main feature is to cry throughout the entire series, despite being raised by vulcans. Also the pacing of the show is very annoying. It’s high tension drama, all the time.

I watched the whole thing. There were some episodes that kinda gave me hope. Those usually were the ones that weren’t part of the main plot. But the next episode it went back to the same dramatic formula.

Oh, and Tilly. What the hell man? How did she get into Starfleet??

This happened to me months ago and back then it was a common issue and there was a fix. I found the fix on the subreddit but can’t quite remember what it was. A freshly patched version should do the trick though.

Hmm, now that you mention it, I think it was quite similar in Germany. But I personally don’t know many people who watched these shows. It was still quite a niche thing. But you’re right, they weren’t considered weebs. Probably because the Germans are so unaware of foreign cultures, most don’t even know what that means.

Absolutely. In Germany at least, anime is a very niche thing. Hardly anyone watches it here. I can’t stand anime because of the lazy animation, though I do appreciate the creativity story-wise.

Nah mate, most of their stuff is terrible shit. DJI is literally the only company I can think of that makes decent quality stuff. And even they fail at times with shitty software.

I work in machinery for the beverage industry. The Chinese still try to copy us (even literally copying our presentation material and displaying it on the very same tradefair that we take part in), and do an incredibly shitty job.
