When I was growing up I had massive self image problems and I was too ashamed to talk about it since it was considered a girl’s problem. It’s nice to see we’ve become more extreme on that. This is why feminism and trans people are at odds so often. Feminists want to remove the concept of gender roles from people’s minds while trans people literally think gender roles are more innate to a person than their DNA. Even mental illness is a gender role now.

I’ve never seen the point of this search engine or any commercial alternative to google. It’s all just varying layers of proxy to Google. You might as well just find a searx instance and use that because it’s all the same crap at the end of the day.

I haven’t deleted my twitter account because it’s floating in some kind of hell where I can’t sign in with my regular twitter credentials because there’s a Google account using my email (which is my account that I made), and I can’t sign in with Google either because my email is already associated with a non google twitter account (the exact same account.)

If they’re both ugly and crazy they’ll be pushed as far into the outskirts as possible. When I worked evenings at Walmart I would always see the night shift people come in and they all had some kind of facial deformity and were hard to communicate with. I never see people like that at bars or anything, just working, and only in jobs and shifts nobody else wants.

You’ll rarely see a crazy person who isn’t hot because if they aren’t hot you won’t see them participating in society.

Everyone thinks they’re talking about the human skull and nervous system but if someone is sitting in ther bedroom on a PC it’s really not all that different from being a brain in a jar, it’s just a different interface and the brain can leave.

Has the update process crashed completely?Or will I have to wait all this time again if I restart the process? With windows you eventually get used to not knowing these things.
