But if the correct answer is 50% and there is only 1/4 chance of choosing that answer at random, you then have a 25% chance of choosing it correctly. So the answer must be 25%, but there is 2/4 chance of choosing that at random so you have a 50% chance of choosing that correctly so the answer is 50%, but there is only a 1/4 chance of…

For music, I use Lidarr (along with the rest of the arr stack) and Headphones as an indexer.
It doesn’t have absolutely everything that I want but enough to make it worth the price.

World News@lemmy.world•Former Air Canada pilot charged after allegedly flying without proper license for 16 yearsEnglish
5·3 months agoJust speculating but maybe he didn’t want to arouse suspicion? It could be that he would have liked to have it, but may not have been able to get it without raising some eyebrows.
Obviously no excuse for not having it to begin with, and doesn’t reflect well on Air Canada for promoting him to captain without it.

2·3 months agoI’ve been playing Dusklight also, and I accidentally found the clawshot early by jumping down off the first giant gear room onto one of the little platforms that are protected by rock roofs, presumably to stop players from jumping onto them.
This was before I turned the water on so I spent the next hour going from room to room trying to find a small key, since I used the one I needed to turn on the water getting into the clawshot room.

Games@lemmy.world•What is a game you can’t understand why its so popular ?English

An indie developer that had never made a game before thinks they can just show up and drop the best game ever made like it’s no big deal?
And then you actually start playing the game and there’s no annoying partner character constantly holding your hand and feeding you hints with corny quippy voice lines? You mean to say I have to figure out how to play on my own?
And don’t even get me started on the community. I’ve never seen a group of people more concerned with spoilers to maintain the mystery for new players.
And it’s a game you can only play once and then that’s it? How does the developer expect to make any money selling microtransactions if their players only get to experience the greatest thing ever published once and then never come back but are compelled to talk about it given any opportunity until the end of time?
Essentially incorrect but still analogous
