The partner of late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, completed a second day of questioning on Friday, where she shared information on about 100 different people with the Justice Department.
Maxwell, who was convicted of child sex trafficking in connection with the disgraced financier in 2021, met with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche for about three hours on Friday at a courthouse in Tallahassee, Florida.
She also sat down with Blanche to answer questions for about six hours on Thursday as the Justice Department tries to quell fallout over its handling of the Epstein files.

From what it sounded like they asked her names. Not she gave them. So either A it was the legitimate list they were just saying didn’t exist, or B. they asked names that they wanted answers too. Being they fired anyone they wanted, the people asking the questions… Intended to get those specific people investigated further.
I would bet they have the “non existent” list & were trying to get her to confirm their hit list… Then they can say “These names were confirmed” even though those were the only ones they asked about.

He never finished his college degree, and after dropping out ended up teaching math at a private high school. He got fired for performance issues (and perhaps getting a bit too close to his students), but had made friends with one of the parents of a kid at the school, who happened to be an executive at Bear Stearns. He got a job trading options, and eventually spun that out into his own consultency, where he made more money than he (or anyone) really deserved to. He seems to be a chronic failure, but knew enough key people so that he could always fail upwards.
There are a lot of really weird coincidences from his early career, though: that High School was run by Bill Barr’s dad, Donald. (yes, that Bill Barr, who was Trump’s AG at the time Jeffrey Epstein “killed himself” in jail.) And Donald Barr actually wrote a trashy sci-fi novel in the early 70s in which sex trafficking of teenagers is a key plot point. Enough coincidences to keep conspiracy theorists going for decades.

Well, given our low voter turnouts…
Roughly 1/3 of our population is so stupid and hateful that they would rather have a President that hurts people they don’t like, than uh… anything else.
I feel like a lot of non US people really do not fully comprehend the level of just literal hatred that fuels many Americans, as well as how common it is to be extremely charismatically performative in a massively hypocritical way, in just every aspect of life.
We are a country of adults that read at an average of a 6th grade level, with astonishing levels of religious extremism and cults (compared to other countries with similar levels of economic development), who are aware our society is collapsing, but are largely too stupid to even understand why.
We were sold the lie of American Exceptionalism, were indoctrinated into it as a sort of secular cult, it is now apparent this is/was all a lie, and people are (have been) essentially having a kind of mass psychosis in terms of how they handle this revalation.
Our systems are massively corrupt, they’ve been incrementally corrupting for decades, but the effect has been snowballing.
A few people and groups would pop up from time to time and point this out, and push for a specific, meaningful reform to actually stymie this at a systemic level, and they would be crushed by both corporate and political PR campaigns, but also just a general sense of ‘you are overreacting and hysterical’ in the broad population, that came from that smug security of the American Exceptionalism ethos.
Basically, we are largely a nation of incurious, brutish, overconfident, malignant narcissists, who revel in biased reasoning ortiented toward justifying an already held belief, who are often already taught from a young age to evaluate the world with the irrational magical thinking of religious cults, which normalizes cognitive dissonance and conspiracism, which then leads to the present outcome you correctly find to be so absurd.
Because their whole system is a circus filled with clowns like him. If this happened in any other country, the president would be fighting for his life.

I actually think Clinton is not on the list. Not because I don’t think he’s capable of such acts (which I tentatively do) but because engaging in such acts as a former president and with a wife with lofty political ambitions is a pretty high bar. And, perhaps most of all, with this congress and this DOJ and this president, if Clinton was on the list we’d absolutely know it by now.
Bill Clinton almost certainly belongs on the list. Furthermore, I think he is the primary reason the Democrats didn’t/couldn’t use Epstein to destroy Trump years ago.

I mean fuck, we know with 100% certainty that Billy boy stuck his dick in an intern, and he had a long history of sexual misconduct accusations. When the truth came out, his popularity went up. Instead of being marched out to irrelevance, he has remained an influential member of Democratic leadership.
You might not remember this, but when the Trump “grab 'em” tape came out it was right before a debate. Trump brought a whole gaggle of Bill’s accusers to sit in the audience to call out the hypocrisy. A scandal they should have ended Trump made him stronger. I guess Billy boy fucked us all.
That may have been plausible in 2016 (when Hillary was running,) but not in 2020 and 2024. There’s zero chance the DNC would’ve sat on evidence that would’ve convicted Trump to protect Bill.

If he does end up absent on the list, I think it’s precisely because of the Lewinsky scandal. Why would you make the same mistake twice.
And I’m certainly not trying to defend Clinton here, but we should keep in mind none of his (many) infidelities were illegal / with underage girls. Which, it needs to be said, didn’t make them ‘okay.’

If Clinton isn’t on the list, it’s only because he cut a deal to keep it off.
I don’t think Clinton’s on the actual client list, either, even though we know he flew in his plane. But he is definitely on the list that they asked Maxwell to rubber-stamp.
