    this is depression talking. don’t delude yourself into thinking you’re an objective realist when you’re incapable of feeling joy. there’s plenty to be miserable about, but if you feel miserable about everything in life and find joy in nothing that’s called anhedonia and is a genuine mental disorder.

      I’ve lived this lifestyle and felt this way all the time. When I left my toxic job I stopped feeling that way. Sometimes it’s not a mental health disorder and just our shitty society.

        Yes, but the point is you can always do something about it. It has a cause that you can fix.

        Money problems can be solves by lowering your consumption. Medical debt can be solved by moving to a country that does care about its citizens. Awful work can be solved by starting unions or going to a different company. Even if it doesn’t do much, it is at least something.

        Just doing nothing and complaining will never solve any problem.
