Reading the thread, I learned what TRT is. I also see that maybe someone learned that search engines do not give the same results to everyone. Which is probably the best we can hope for. On the topic of taking hormones, if you really need it, you should take it. I don’t really think that all who take it really need it. I really don’t know, just my biased opinion from living in a country that has an economy based upon selling anything. I have a brother who takes it. Maybe for 20 years. He seems to blame all his health problems on other people, rather than the drugs he takes for hair growth and erectile distinction and whatever else he takes. I don’t know though. He could be worse without it. Like someone’s else said, it reduces your bodies ability to make it, so if you stop taking it, you might have more problems later. I think the problems with athletes taking it, show that it may not be good for you. Wow, I have lots of opinions. Hope that I’m not being an ass and actually contributing to the community.

If you really need it – take it.

My understanding is that by taking it you’re stunting your bodies ability to produce it naturally. Effectively “subscribing” you to taking the medication indefinitely. That part doesn’t sit well with me if all you’re after is a bit of muscle, energy, recovery, etc.

TRT = Testosterone Replacement Therapy. It’s HRT for cis men.

I’d rather cut off my balls. With anesthetic but I not picky.

Finally, an explanation for the acronym! Thank you.

@OP, not everyone knows what TRT is.

Well, to be fair, if you don’t know what it is, it’s not really useful to know your opinion on the question either.

(I’m being somewhat cheeky here, it would be polite to explain it in the comments at least)

Not everyone has english as primary language, and abbreviations are difficult to know and/or remember.

Google exists dude. It’s also pretty common to the point the average person knows what it is. Also, this is no stupid questions, the point is to not make someone feel stupid for asking questions

They are not full of shit. You just fell into American defaultism… Search engines just show what’s relevant in places you live. /languages you use the engine at. Since they live in Turkey or close to it, they recieve the Turkish Broadcasting as the number 1 option for TRT. / don’t use english as their main language.

If I click on their link I get this:
