    Authoritarians, which are not unrelated to racism, if left alone, will start stripping rights from each other. In a spherical cow sense, they can’t really bond with each other because they fundamentally hate other people, like as a concept. This is also sorta why their social media sites never take off.

      I generally hate people. I don’t want to be authoritative over anyone. I don’t want the responsibility.

        I wonder if their hate is just a side effect of wanting to be superior over others. And that’s what drives their base actions.

          More or less, yes. It’s the satisfaction that comes from power.

          The main ingredients of fascism are fear (urgency) and a desire to reclaim a power once held, like in a birthright sense. A result of this is that the power they hold now is a result of the fear they’ve fostered, which means they quite literally cannot survive people becoming unafraid. There must always be a group of people to hate, even amongst each other, or the kingdom they’ve built vanishes.
