If you mean not provided food or shelter, agreed. Idc what people say about them being friendly or violent, I have never been lurched at more while minding my own business by any breed other than pitbulls. “But mine is well trained”. Perhaps but probably not as well as you think. Take their food away when they are eating. Try it. Even if yours passes a food aggression test, there are at least 20 which are not. And let’s be real. You know that.

Yeah, because arseholes decide to own them due to their reputation, and mistreat them or otherwise force them to be violent. Twenty to thirty years ago it was Rottweilers. Dobermans and Staffordshire Bull Terriers have also had that same reputation. There are no bad dog breeds, just bad owners and traumatised animals. Do you know what breed is most likely to bite a human in Australia? Golden/Labrador Retrievers. Do you know why? They’re the most registered dog breed. Staffordshire Bull Terriers are the second most likely to bite humans. They are the second most registered dog breed. It’s not rocket science mate.

Anecdotally, the most aggressiveness I’ve had from dogs while out in my wheelchair has been from small dogs >10kg that bark, growl, lunge at me and try to bite my hands. It’s all classic “small dog syndrome” which any clever person knows is actually caused by owners letting their dogs get away with that behaviour because it’s “cute”.
