They listen to (and rip apart) Alex’s shit so you don’t have to. It’s quite good, though it may raise your blood pressure.

In the episode from 16 September (second to latest, actually), Alex shouts ‘Kill, kill, kill!’ in reference to the ‘woke trans agenda leftist terrorists’.

My local gay bar posted on Facebook about a massive increase in harassment, as well as a physical assault on a patron.

    Stochastic terrorism.

A trans woman was attacked in Washington last week. People on Facebook are mask off, saying it was deserved.

Is this going to explode into an orgy of violence and then finally die down? Will something bad enough happy than people will be shamed back into calling evil, evil?

There were two separate shootings at homeless camps last week. I barely saw coverage of it.

I feel so much pressure and fear that I can’t think. I don’t understand why people are filled with so much hate. It can’t feel good, can it?

We have our Pride in October because of the summer heat, the board of my organization isn’t worried about booth setup or swag or elevator speeches. They primarily want a map showing every possible exit scenario depending on where a shooter might begin. We are going forward with the expectation that Prides will be more violent. And that breaks my heart.

It’ll take multiple occurrences of a cisgender person being misgendered and shot to death over it for anything to happen and even then it’ll be on the “thoughts and prayers” level of effort as it is with every other shooting that happens near daily here

It’s sad to say, but if you are trans or even gay, you need to start executing your escape plan if you have one. If you dont have a plan, you need to start making one, fast. This isn’t going to blow over any time soon. Help each other out where you can - there are plenty that will struggle to find a way out.

He was harassing the bartender and the two patrons sitting next to him. Took three of us walking out from the kitchen to get him to move. He was ready to go to war.

          • “Robinson’s mother said her son had started to lean more to the left, Utah County Attorney Jeff Gray told a news conference on Tuesday, “becoming more pro-gay and trans-rights orientated””

‘More to the left’ of MAGA is not ‘leftist’, ffs. That whole family is deep MAGA, so more to the left isn’t even necessary centrist. Libertarian, maybe, or still far right, but thinks LGBTQ people might be people.

Are you even paying attention? Do you think trans people, women, and immigrants deserve rights? Answer honestly.

You said ‘leftist’, and you made claims about that based on what his grandmother said.

I said coming from a MAGA family, ‘drifting left’ doesn’t necessarily mean ‘leftist’. Compared to MAGA, ‘moving left’ can mean anything from libertarian to centrist. That’s not a claim, it’s calling you on your claim.

We don’t yet know anything about him other than his family is MAGA and Mormon, so let’s not speculate what his beliefs are, eh?

                Yes, statistically.

Based on government and independent analyses, right-wing extremist violence has been responsible for the overwhelming majority of fatalities, amounting to approximately 75% to 80% of U.S. domestic terrorism deaths since 2001.

There’s a thing called “Poe’s Law” that states “without a clear indicator of the author’s intent, any parodic or sarcastic expression of extreme views can be mistaken by some readers for a sincere expression of those views.”

So your “joke” relies on the idea that zero rightwing nutjobs will read it as encouragement. Which is just highly unlikely.

It’s very difficult to joke about extremism online because there’ll almost always be extremists who take it as encouragement. To them, you’re indistinguishable from any other MAGA supporter.
