I set up the Redirector Firefox addon to take me to imgur images’ https://imgur.artemislena.eu/ mirror when I open them (though sadly doesn’t work with embedded images).

Firefox now also has built-in free VPN if that’s more your thing, though I don’t want to remember to turn it on and off all the time, so I stick with the redirection.
