A side question, why do I receive some comments notifications but can’t see them in the comment section at all?

It happens here bc of milk, the government forced us to do a long line for it; and people (instead of taking two bags of milk) take like 10 so the rest don’t take; and send their children after them to get more.
We are living in such a shitty world. Also, when I was caught by cops for a misunderstanding and they started asking me “do you have the government” I mentioned that I hate the milk line, and they said “that’s how it’s supposed to be” with a confident face of someone who has a whole stock of milk ready for him.
I felt like that guy during the toilet paper shortage. I had to go get 3 family sized bumper packs for various houses because they couldn’t go themselves because covid was scary and they were old and weak.
Everybody giving me evil eyes as I walked them home.
I didnt even need any I stole like 100 industrial-sized rolls from my work over the years prior to lockdown. I just couldnt tell anyone because then they’d be asking “how did you get toilet paper?” And “why is this the shitty 1-ply stuff you get in public restrooms” and “wait how much have you got?” And then before you know it my windows are panned in and ive got my entire stash nicked.
If it makes you feel any better, if I had to steal toilet paper from someone, I’d definitely steal two-ply from someone else before going after your stash of single-ply. If it takes the same amount of effort either way, might as well nab the good stuff.

Probably due to federation. It can take some instances a bit to sync with each other so sometimes votes and comments take a minute to register.
Could also be instance blocking in either the app or the instance or is using.
Had the same thought, but I checked their mod log first and didn’t see any bans.
I remember once, that i went to the cornerstore to buy some sliced bread, I needed 2 bags of them, and just happen that I was buying the last two they had, they started attending the lady behind me as well who also needed bread, and I kinda felt pitty, so i change one of the bags to wholegrain so the lady could buy the other one.
I know is a stupid interaction but this meme made me remember it lol.
