That is the first cat I have ever seen look sad. Normally they look ambivalent.

There was a stray my mom used to feed who looked kinda sad but I think mostly tired, unfortunately he’s not around any more. But now there’s one we call Mr. Grumpy for reasons that I hope are obvious.
