It is, but keep in mind that if you don’t intentionally misinterpret things you know to be jokes, you won’t get to act smug about how awful they are. It’s good to see we have some people bringing the core aspect of reddit culture here.

Telling people “calm down” is a very unconstructive de-escalation tactic because it has no substance. People respond much better if you address specific conduct, explain a potential consequence, ask for something else, and then give space.
For example, when someone needs to calm down, I tell them “You’d better fix that attitude problem of yours before it gets you into trouble”, and then as soon as they begin to respond I interrupt with “Close your mouth” and I walk away. This makes people realize they’re overreacting and they calm down right away.
No that one does track. If I can witness RuneScape players freak out over basic QOL features, I can 100% see future gamers insisting that if you aren’t encumbered by the traditional wires then you’re playing the baby version.
That’s it. It’s the illusion of fairness and it takes away reddit jannies’ ability to show off their powermod status, and that’s the only incentive they have not to use sockpuppets for every sub they mod.
Bad movies aren’t fun if they’re bad on purpose, though. They need to be bad because they’re a failed attempt at a good movie, made by someone who’s either talentless, insane, degenerate, or (ideally) all three. That’s why it’s so much fun to watch The Room or Double Down or After Last Season: those movies are the sincere but crushed dreams of crazy charlatans. Conversely, that’s why crap like Sharknado is so boring, it’s because there was no attempt to reach something. Asylum movies like that are the film equivalent of the kind of person who keeps repeating the same three Monty Python references.
Grok has clearly been instructed to defend Charlie Kirk in every context and to assert he “wins” in any given situation. Right-wing people like Kirk and Musk are obsessed with image and not losing face. Grok, like Kirk was programmed to simulate the kind of rationalizations and vernacular that appeal to right-wingers, and so it tries to spin-doctor Kirk getting capped as “actually he’s fine lol shut up nerd”. I think it’s hilarious, because it implies “Defend Charlie Kirk” is excruciatingly over-emphasized in the LLM’s instruction set to compensate for the fact that Kirk actually got humiliated regularly.
Microsoft is at this point made up entirely of technically inept people running fraudulent mechanical Turks.
Shut up nerd, go worry about a real problem.
Suck my Frances E Dec
Matrix exists to contain people whose schizo power level was too high for discord and it has no other function. You can safely ignore 100% of all activity on matrix servers and that percentage is not an exaggeration.
You don’t enjoy comics where the entire strip is “I have non-sociopathic beliefs, also here’s a banal anecdote about my boring life”?
Good performances from quality actors overshadowed by fans whining about how they wanted the character to be a different character.
They’re shitty cars though.
No, I just drag my nuts all over the internet whenever and wherever I please. If you want to invite comparisons about lunatic behavior, then maybe you should throw some more honeys and sweeties and kissies in there and you’ll actually succeed in looking detached and unbothered instead of like a middle aged divorcee who cyberbullies teenagers on Instagram.
Originally I was going to make the bon mot that it’s clearly not true because I was wrong for assuming you weren’t an imbecile. Funny, right? That’s went right out the window after I saw you get bell curved to genius savant status by actual imbecile @Apocalypteroid@lemmy.world. Deliberately misinterpreting you in a failed attempt to score a point for their yippie boomer obsession with agitprop is so embarrassing I feel like I need to take my monthly shower early.
With planning and a steady hand. It helps to not hang out at McDonald’s afterwards.
Thankfully I have some, which reinforces that I’m right.
Yes, I, too, understood the point of the comment.
