I’m a squirrel. The german word for squirrel is Eichhörnchen, which is hard to pronounce for english speakers. The english word for Eichhörnchen is squirrel, which is hard to pronounce for german speakers. And I think that’s beautiful :)

I’m thinking about switching to GrapheneOS, but sadly I need to continue using WhatsApp too. Do you have WhatsApp installed in a separate profile? Notifications aren’t cross-profile aren’t they? How do you get notified about a WhatsApp message when it runs in a separate profile?

This one is nice. Sound of a waterfall with some bird chirping here and there. It’s quite low-pitch, I disliked all the other white noise sounds because of their higher pitch.

While there might be a perfect time of day to post to the Threadiverse, please don’t put out all your posts at that time. I remember a couple years back when YouTube channels optimized for this and everyone published at 16 UTC, you had no new content all day and too much to watch when 16 UTC hit.
On here I don’t care what time or day it is at all. I just post what I want to post. If it has value it will still be in peoples’ top/hot/active feeds the next days.

8·14 days agoGo to https://ecosia.org/ in a private browser window. It says “AI that answers to the planet”. Search something and the AI Overview on top is enabled by default.
I use them with AI disabled, but it should be the default setting.
Edit: I just did a couple test searches and didn’t get the AI overview. Don’t know what triggers it.
No
