I’m bummed but i understand.
The main characters aren’t really the lower deckers anymore.
I wish they continued to follow them in a different show, though, because there were definitely more stories to be told with everyone.

“Middle Decks” ?
I mean, they were all junior officers being prepped for leadership roles, so it’d just be a regular Star Trek setup
Star Trek: The Animated Series: The Next Generation
More likely: “Bridge Crew”
So “Every Star Trek Ever”?
Yes, but with Moopsy, and Orion shenanigans.
Why does that face in panel 2 look so… Fake?
I noticed that, too. I think it’s just the lighting, color balance (it’s got a heavy yellow tint), and the sharp focus only on Briones’s face that’s making it look off. Pretty sure it looked the same in the episode.
Or maybe Briones wasn’t available to shoot that scene and they filmed it with a body double and added her face on in post? I don’t think I’ve read that, but it wouldn’t be unheard of.
She is an android, after all.
I really hope we get to see more Prodigy, watching Wesley actually do all the Traveller stuff was pretty cool
Plus the connection back to Gary Seven using his office layout.
(Just paying this forward from the last time I made this mistake and someone had to correct me)
Wil Wheaton.
Lol, I was gonna say:
If you’re Worf, “Whil Whheaton” is also acceptable.
Ironically they basically cancelled Picard after season 2 too.
then what was season 3 imho the closest it ever got to Star Trek?
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed season 3 but it was basically a different show.
yeah but it kinda felt like that every season was a different show all together.
It seems like each additional season was an attempt at a massive course correction which is how S3 became massive fan service.
It was worth it just to get the band back together one last time.
So much so, that everyone in Season 3 basically forgot that Season 2 … happened at all.
And Prodigy.
Wait, for real?
IIRC it was less cancelled and more come to it’s natural conclusion. Like it wasn’t the network saying “get outta here”, but the creators saying it had run it’s course.
That’s better I suppose 🤔
I know who that is
